The era of high performance, highfidelity audio systems for the Indian market is here. There is ratherliterally no shortage of brands and models. Certainly, there is aprice to pay, but it does not feel as it is going to alter anytimesoon. On all from floor standers to monitor speakers available, thereis no shortage of variety. Floor standers can be space consuming andfor those who favor more elegant speakers, JBL India is offering akit known the Cinestyle 30.

The Cinestyle 30 is a 5.1 speaker setupand unlike few of the other home theatres we have reconsidered, theseare created by five satellites, near similar ones and one woofer. Thespeaker set is Harmon Kardon’s HKTS 30 5.1 audio speaker set. Theamplifier is even Harmon Kardon’s AVR 255. We seemed at the AVR 134a while rear - it was rolled up with the previous JBL audio solutionkit we reconsidered - the JBL Studio One.

Beginning with the amplifier, there isone word to describe it when you acquire it out of the box – it isvery heavy. One of the reasons for AV equipment to be too expensivein India is may be the shipping cost for such heavy speakers. The AVR255 for example weighs no less than 13.6 kg. As any other high-endaudio receiver-amplifier, the rear has a ton of connections.

Installation is straightforward. Theconnectors on the amplifier end are large, color coded, thus it issimply to setup the speakers. Rotate the knobs, pass the cable viaand tighten to suit the cables. Setting up the cables on thesatellite end are much simpler, with the other hand - simply fairlythe pin till the pass via hole is visible, then insert the cable andallow go off the pin.

At the front of the amplifier, thingsare much simpler. There is one single dial for the volume controlthat is even illuminated and there are a some connects right underit. There are few a some controls in the form of thin, flat buttonsthat allow you apply the amplifier without applying the remotecontrol.

The amplifier is fairly large and haslarge vents with either slope. We noticed that it does acquire alittle warm later few intensive apply and the vents should assisthold temperatures under control above extended periods.

Like for the speakers, these are notfloor standers. There are small plastic stands that arrive attachedto the speakers themselves, which create them fairly sturdy. The planof the satellites reminds us of the satellites detected with theAltec Lansing MX5021 speaker satellites. Each one of the satellitesis similar exclude for the mid channel that prevarications with itsslope.

Each satellite has three drivers andthese are protected by a metal grill, while the rest of the speakeris made of plastic. The stands with the satellite assist conceal theconnectors and the cables, thus the clutter is minimized. The bundledcables are not extreme thin but they are long and should simple reachcorners of a decent sized room.

The woofer is fairly large for the sizeof the satellites, in comparison to few of the other speakers we havewatched. It is elevated from the ground by a small more as comparedto an inch applying four spike-like stands. The build quality of thewoofer is excellent and it is pretty heavy also.

The black color scheme goesconsiderable on the feel of the speakers. The remote as everythingother Harmon Kardon remotes is massive and can not be applied withonly one grip. The buttons and controls are of good quality andconsiderable placed. The back of the remote has a matte finish thatcreates gripping it simple and comfy.
