Portable speakers are a nice idea for the frequent travelers who listen to music or watch movies to get rid of their boredom when they are away from home for a meeting. But all portable solutions are not great, but the one that we got from Targus is. It is a simple flat panel NXT's Balanced Radiator (BR) speaker set which is slim enough and have a size slightly bigger than that of the playing cards. Just plug in these speakers to your desktop, notebook or even your MP3 player(with the 3.5mm audio input) and enjoy the sound in your ambient environment that is enough to fill a small sized room.

The best part about these speakers is that they are quite handy-the magnet binds both the units together and you just have a single unit to carry for. These speakers do come with an adapter which runs on 3 AAA batteries. Though it doesn't give you a top-notch sound quality but is generally clear, although mid-range needs some work sometimes. The speakers may not get cranked up at high volumes, but remains distortion free in mid ranges.
