Bose is known over the world for its exceptional quality sound systems and demanding a rather hefty premium for the same too. The Acoustic Wave Music System II, is an all-in-one music system with CD and FM. When I first pulled it out of the case, some of my colleagues commented that it looked more like an air purifying device rather than a sound system.
The top is where the CD player, display and controls rest. The spring-loaded CD flap of the player was rigid and wasn't that smooth as it is supposed to be, but this might be a problem only with the test unit that we received. A big advantage is the molded inset handles for easy portability. On the top you'll also find different buttons for different sources (FM, AM, CD and AUX) and 6 presets each for FM and AM. I particularly liked the addition of a 3.5mm jack for personal listening. For a one piece system, it sounds great. The package also contains a sleek, full-function credit-card sized remote.
