The mighty Benq makes the other projectors in our test look like Lilliputians, and its gaping lens clearly means business it's designed like that to accommodate an anamorphic lens like those found in professional screening rooms. It pumped our massive screen so full of Blu-ray, it farted at both ends. The laser-like lamp beams bold images and vivid colours - even in daylight - producing the kind of draw-dropping clarity that makes standard deflook distinctly sub-standard. Even with an older, dowdier DC2 chipset, the BenQ is the best pixel-per-pound projector around, way above the heads of most of its low-rent, so-called rivals.
