THE BEST SONY KLV-32V400A LCD TV, AT the Korean offerings before approaching this Jap fella, you're going to be in for a disappointment of sorts. Not only is this LCD TV thicker than its competitors, its bulkier too and much more old-fashioned. There's a black and grey theme going on that needs a design refresh. Yet, thanks to Sony's ass¬kicking Bravia 2 engine, you're likely to forget all this once you've switched it on. In terms of notable features, there's an ambient light sensor, a 24P 'True Cinema' mode for films, and 3 HDMI ports.

This Bravia will offer you the most fulfilling movie-watching experience. When in 'cinema' mode, movies actually look better than on the Korean adversaries. The blacks are rich and colours perfectly saturated. The built-in speakers too, do justice. The screen does have an issue playing fast-paced action sequences. There's a bit of jerkiness thereby betraying this telly's age. But if you don't mind investing in old tech, this could be a good bet.
