You don't need to carry around these speakers; this pair comes in a single case. There are no wires hanging between them and that makes it easier to carry and set up. Just take it out from your bag, power it on, and connect it to your music device to listen to music or any other audios. The casing is white plastic with bright blue rubber surrounds and rubber feet, but I would have liked some better protection for the speakers (speaker grilles). It generates sound that belies its size, that's for sure.
