The Marvell SheevaPlug is a very curious computer integrated into a box the size of an AC adapter. Small, very small. Its features do not stand out because of the power that can offer: a micro Marvell 1.2 GHz, 512 MB RAM and 512 MB flash memory to act as hard disk, an Ethernet port and one USB 2.0. However, it may be an ideal device for daily tasks and very specific: Internet browsing, email and even office automation tasks. What do the vast majority of users go.
I see a great little drawback is that the Marvell SheevaPlug has no video output, which will connect a monitor to be done via USB 2.0. However, its two main advantages are the extremely low price, which connects directly to the plug, occupying a small space of our room. According to Marvell, is compatible with Linux distributions from the 2.6 kernel and a future plan to further decrease the price.
