Than your average bar, the TVee is a snap to set-up - the subwoofer connects to the bar, wirelessly, and there are barely any connections to hook up, although the lack of an optical audio input irks. The TVee doesn't even attempt to conjure up any pseudo-surround gubbins; if you ask us, that's just plain lazy. This bar is strictly stereo, designed strictly to offer a better class of audio than your telly's built-in speakers. It succeeds in its modest aim, blasting out sharp, evenly separated stereo with bags of bass thanks to the wireless subwoofer. It will give you better sound than your humble telly-box, but where's the fun? We expect our gadgets to pack a tad more excitement than this.
