When it comes to hoodie couture, most fashion houses are content to emblazon a vast logo on the front of a sweater. For the Mackenzie-wearing mugger types, this is high design. But the remit of the hoodie spans far further if someone takes time to think outside the box. Burton has done so with the Sleeper, which incorporates an MP3 player pocket, an internal zip pocket for travel docs, a snap-down visor and a removable, blow-up neck pillow. Not necessarily the most practical of get-ups for a weekend's shoplifting and sicking up in the town centre, but wonderful for the trip home when the adrenaline high has worn off.
