Canon MD-160 Handycam Hi-def snobs may scoff at MiniDV camcorders, but for quality on a budget they're still a sound choice. The MD-160 is one of the best-value shooters around, with a great zoom and speedy start-up. It'll also swallow SD cards making it an ideal YouTube weapon.
