Definitive Technology provides both in-wall and in-ceiling speakers in the UIW series Their Reference Line is an enclosed full range loudspeaker engineered for flush mount in-wall installation. It features a non-resonant sealed mediate enclosure. As mentioned above, the enclosure helps obviate the effect of the wall material thereby promising a consistent and high quality audio performance. Further the Rotating Dogleg clamp arrangement helps for an easy and non-fussy installation. Def Tech also (just like Dali and many others) incorporate their regular driver technology in the in-wall and In-ceiling speakers so that users get the same quality and finesse as freestanding speakers but only with an added comfort of space. They also have a certain DI (Disappearing) series for in-ceiling speakers. With their small diameters, hidden flange design and low profile micro-perf grilles which can be coloured as well, the speakers swiftly camouflage with your walls exploiting the true sense of in-ceiling speakers.
