Incredibly slick and compact, D-Link's teensy wireless router is a bundle of joy for both the connectivity buffs and novice users alike.
Following the sacred middle path, the DIR-600 is neither too in your face nor too cutesy. The glossy black finish looks smart, no doubt, but this router doesn't want to impress as much as to blend into the surroundings. There's a stand in case you want to position the router upright, and basic info LEDs on the device to indicate the internet, Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity status.
Setting up the router is a piece of cake thanks to its compact size and well-designed menus. You can easily access the device's webpage and find your way around lest you need to configure advanced settings.
The D-Link web interface has perhaps the best combination of ease of use and power that will appease both eggheads and newbies. Another ace up its sleeve is the Wi-Fi draft N offering at a very competitive price. To seal the deal. the DIR-600 is rock-solid and performs like a stallion on steroids.
Connect five notebooks to it and engage in wireless transfers and there isn't a hint of lag. We never had it hang on us either! Now that's a prize. Overall, it's a great way to make your pad internet ready.
