The Aurvanas' plastic and pressed metal construction can't compete with the precision finish of the classiest rivals here, and you might expect more at this price. However, that's where the complaints end. At 14g they're as light as an ant's trousers and their comfortable "Flexnium" ear hooks behave like memory-frame spectacles. The sound is a revelation and the best in this company, with a natural, open nature. With a hint of extra bass depth they'd win this test hands down.
