Yes, I was still writing activities bits I saw Stuff / What Hifi show, and it deserves item.

You may be familiar with them from Dynaudio speaker HiFi background. They recently together with a number of car manufacturers to offer premium stereo upgrade to the new models.

They were at the exhibition demonstrates that they have not been able to do with the new VW Passat, and it was very impressive indeed. If you get the opportunity to participate in them in any demonstrator will show you visit, do it! (And if you are new on the market passat, do yourself a favour and spend money on updating)

Dynaudio speakers of the standard cut and replaced them with 4 woofers, 2 midrange drivers and tweeters 4 in strategically around the cabin. They then developed a 600 watt RMS amplifier to drive the animals and fired 3 / 4 that power woofers and midrange.

They are also some fancy equalisation and time to bring the electronics cycle to ensure that the sound of a car where precicely light.

Interestingly no subwoofer in the design, but you do not know what to listen to it. To say that it sounds better than the standard stereo in understatement. This is the best match standard stereo I have ever heard, and it completely stealthy. No huge speakers sitting on the shelf package, not a massive subwoofer with inscriptions in boot space - to the casual observer stereo is different from the usual model.

It costs something like £ 750 for the upgrade, when you buy a car, in which a stereo land is not really that much (to visit one of the specialized shows that if you do not believe me!) And you save the hassle of having to get 3rd party components fitted.
