Released by Transcend Information, JetFlash DSC is a USB flash drive, in conjunction with VGA digital cameras, which enable users to take digital photos without the inconvenience requiring USB cable or card reader to connect to the PC.

Equipped with a 0.25-inch CMOS image sensor, the JetFlash stores images in a 640 × 480 JPG file (VGA), sized at 55KB. Since JetFlash DSC is, in fact, the memory, it connects to a computer via a USB port. After the photo is transferred to the computer, bundled software can be used to change or enhance the photos. In USB flash drive also includes a built-in rechargeable lithium battery that is replenished through a USB port. In JetFlash is USB 1.1 compliant and does not require any additional drivers for installation (except for Windows 98).

The only drawback is that the JetFlash DSC comes in 128MB and 256MB density, with the 128MB version of the prices of NT $ 1,550 (U.S. $ 46). With a fixed capacity, it is unlikely that any chance of upgrading to the large memory storage, if users prefer. There are currently shipping products, although reports previously claimed they were no longer in production.
