When one-engine aircraft crashed in the Upper East Side residential building on Wednesday, Fox News Channel, made at the beginning of the video to their viewers from the accident with hand mobile phone with a live streaming video.

Scott Wilder, one operator Fox, was about 20 blocks for another assignment when the accident occurred. Wilder ran uptown and reported live from the scene with hand Palm Treo smartphone, which uses the existing mobile network to transmit video on Fox News dispatcher. From there, Fox News sent him to live on TV, in addition to other local video shot in traffic helicopters.

The quality of images from the disaster was not impressive, but it was live. Wilder also was able to speak with "Studio B" anchor Shepard Smith on the same phone and let live "man on the street" to report Fox viewers.

In these advanced video phones are becoming more and more popular, we can probably expect a surge citizen journalism. If YouTube can make someone Internet celebrities, video phone can make any reporter. Right?
