If you look around, we have written several posts on various RFID gadgets, but I have to say this is my next favorite. And no, RFID set of experiments, of course, not the most complex RFID gadget I saw, but it is a huge concern in the most sense. I mean, come, you get to create gadgets themselves, and although a normal person can not that much fun, I sure do.

The kit includes everything you might need to get yourself started with RFID. This project book acquaint you with the more technical side of RFID, but also presents some really, really, really cool projects. Ah, yes, those projects, I was telling you about: Castle RFID, RFID Windows Login, RFID safe, RFID smart shelf, as well as RFID employee time clock. In order to actually get these projects done, you need some equipment, in the package, you get a lot of that. A lot of USB RFID reader, which can read tags from up to 4 inches away, software (XP/2000 only), and about 12 different RFID tags. This is not yet what will be bored. Instead, you get a nice variety of tags, which include the fob, a 17mm pill tag sticker tags with backings, and credit cards are thin tag.

ThinkGeek has a set of RFID experiments about $ 100, but is now on backorder. New kits should arrive in late March. If you are in the queue, you can explore nerdy details on RFID.
