Sony Electronics announced its new nav-u personal navigation devices called the NV-U73T and NV-U83T. The devices are both available now online and in retail stores for $300 and $400 respectively. Both devices offer text-to-speech voice commands and real-time traffic capability.

Suction cup mounts are included on both devices. It uses new super suction cup design that provides a tighter attachment, and can directly attach to the car dashboard instead of the windscreen for easier use.

The U83T features Bluetooth technology for handsfree phone calls. A microphone allows drivers with compatible phones to initiate calls as well. The screen is 4.8-inches and features anti-glare coating. POSITION Plus helps keep drivers on the right track when the signal is weak with an accelerometer and gyro.
