Sennheiser's HD series is mainly targeted at the audiophile community and the HD 212Pro is the entry-level headphone from the HD range. Clad in a silvery plastic body, these headphones have a semi-circumaural design, and are very comfortable thanks to the soft ear cushions. You can easily use them for long durations; all thanks to their light weight, and the soft earpiece and headband padding.
These headsets come with detachable cables and earcups, so a DJ can remove one earcup easily. To get that best fit, you just have to move the ear cups up and down rather than moving the headband. We tested these headphones with several devices: PC, iPod and even with a Nokia N82. The sound output across all these
devices and for all genres of music was superb. Though the output was bass heavy, the treble was well-matched with the bass.

The sound clarity was mindblowing; it was clear and crispy even at the max volume. Overall performance of this headphone was comparable to the performance of the high-end headphones such as HD650 (though HD650 delivers richer bass). They are just perfect for anyone who wants professional-quality sound at an affordable price.
