Thread: What is the best Anti-virus program for a gaming PC

I am a player as well as I need a reasonable anti virus. But one that does not sap all the CPU like Norton or McAfee. Any recommendations please?

Well I would select AVG no price edition. They do not hog on program source much. What he said, AVG is very fantastic, I have the pro edition at house and its fantastic.

Seems odd when you have to pay for companies Norton and so on. Just can not see how they rationalize providing it away for no price when people like it so much. They could create a bundle. Is it not as fantastic at choosing up germs than Norton or something ? Well I will certainly be using one of those bad young children when my Norton operates out.

Some providers like AVG hand out their primary item as the attitude is to help avoid the propagation of virus at any price. The non-free editions have many more choices but the primary will be sufficient in most situations. It also gets their name out to the community without having to invest large numbers on promotion. Many AV providers are doing this for the last few decades.

Another elect for AVG, I have been using it for a while as well as have had nothing but fantastic stuff to say about it. Archers, if I was in your situation, I would eliminate Norton ASAP as well as put up AVG. Your only doing your rig a benefit by doing so.

If anyone running a Genuine Windows..Then i suggest you to have the Microsoft Security Essentials..I have installed it and works like a charm..doesn't acquire a huge chunk of memory like other antivirus programs..
