NEC 1770NX-BK Monitor Sporting the same kind of build quality that we saw on the larger 19inch NEC monitors, the 1770NX immediately ran into issues with contrast in DisplayMatenearly half of our grey cards were indistin guishable from black. In the colour tests, for some weird reason, the 16-shade intensity ramp had serious issues With the four brightest Itensities III the colour green. and With the three brightest intensities in the colours red and blue where the shades looked the same-a shame for this monitor. In games the contrast ratio was noticeable although the colour Issue was only apparent WIth games. At Rs 18,900 nobody is going to lose any sleep over whether to purchase this monitor or not. so we'll leave it at that.
