LaCie has itroduced its 500GB Rugged hard drive. Designed by Neil Poulton, the device features scratch-resistant aluminum shell and shock-resistant rubber case. Hard disk is available in USB 2,0 model or bus-food version, which supports USB 2,0, FireWire 400 and FireWire 800. Prices of $ 400, this 500GB Rugged hard drive comes pre-loaded with backup software.
