Acer will launch its new range of ultra-portable computers Aspire TimeLineX March 22 next. The 1830T, 3820T, 4820T and 5820T will be designed around the Calpella platform, the giant Santa Clara, so they will be equipped with Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 engraved in 32 nanometers.
The 1830T is designed around a Core i5-520UM at 1.06 GHz and 2 GB of DDR3. The integrated Intel graphics solution supports HD display 1366x768 inch screen 11.6 inches. Storage is provided by a disk of 160 GB or more, and one memory card reader. This TimeLineX operates a normal size keyboard and a 9 cell battery which enables it to achieve a range of 8 hours. Connectivity includes Gigabit LAN, WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G. A Crystal Eye webcam is on this part of the screen.
The TimeLineX 3820T (13.3 inches) 4820T (14 inches) and 5820T (15.6 ") all have a resolution of 1366x768 pixels. They are equipped with i3/i5 or Core i7, up to 4 GB of DDR3 and a hard drive from 160 to 640 Go graphics card ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 or HD 5470 will complement the Intel HD Graphics. The remaining features are identical to that found on the 1830T. All these machines come with Windows 7 Home Basic or Home Premium and should be available soon after launch.
