Facebook is to release a content-sharing button that can be fixed in websites and permit social networkers to share web content they akin to on their profile.
The button, which will be declared at Facebook's annual f8 conference in the US later this week, has been compared to alike buttons currently accessible by micro-blogging site Twitter and Digg.
However, the social network deprived of claims that the button will be utilized to track social networker's web behavior in a bid to serve targeted adverts.
"The Financial Times wrongly optional that Facebook is releasing behavioral ad targeting at f8, our future developer discussion," Facebook said. "We have no statements or changes designed to our ad presenting or ad policies."
Facebook only utilizes information offered by social networkers on their profile, like age or gender to give out targeted adverts.
