Default Instabilities and diagnostics memory with Memtest86

This topic will help you identify problems with the original memory. Too often with memory noname (generic), of more or less serious problems of stability are to be deplored. Especially with some low-end motherboards?

To identify a glaring problem of stability, it often uses the very good utility Memtest86 v3.0 . It can scan all the memory and attempts, through various test patterns and under several different approaches to detect? Possible problems? Alteration of data, c? Is to say potentially? Instability. Remember that? a permanent bar does NO error after several passes.

Supply voltage too low the bars, so clearly is the subject of the "The bar is low quality and used in inadequate conditions, is found unstable."Undernourishment almost always originates from a mobo too light on that side, as the K7S5A for example.

After, change a PSU that remains in the margins of + / - 5% around the nominal value by another who is also around the division has never set aside this for me.

Small contribution about memtest if you get some error:
-Test 1 to 4 (inclusive), the error comes mostly at the bar (very infrequently on the motherboard, sometimes possibly CPU).

Test-5 test 7, the error is more often attributable to the motherboard or CPU (less frequently), and very rarely in the bar itself.

Of course, this is not an absolute rule, but generally verified and based on experience.

No, this is an improved version.

Memtest86 is free dissemination under license (GPL). Memtest86 + is developed from source code Memtest86.

I just tried the A-data 2x512 ch5 on my P4C800dlxe. She passed on the mobo of pro-prophet to:

DUAL in 2,5-3-3-7 in PC3200 on a Gigabyte GA-8KNXP to 2.5 v.Result impossible for me to boot in dual. And a single horror IDE2 unrecognized! The timings, FSB of DDR can be intrinsic to announce that it is an RFI? It seems that through this example, the answer is no.Timings between the definitions of mobo manufacturers are perhaps not at all homogeneous. How can we ensure that only those parameters come into play?

I transplant to this forum, I think it's the principle not to pollute the others. Sorry if I'm wrong.

Following random reboots (but with different causes for errors stop0x00000050 bcp), I made lots of updates to drivers, flashed the bios etc.. I took the test with memtest86 + and it tells me the ereurs during test 5. I do not know if that can help (well, not me) but here the 2 1st of 218 errors:
    - Failing address: 0000ffdf838 - 255.9 MB
    - Good: 00000400
    - Bad: ff000400
    - Err-bits: ff000000

At a looking, your CPU voltage may be a young low for travel a 500FSB. That could be the source of your unbalance. In your tilt of settins, I also do not see your remembering person emf. It testament certainly penury to elevated above Automobile with the OC you are attempting.
