Default Exhibit your Custom Case Work.

Ok, this should be fairly easy and Ihave discussed this with DrZaius. I have aimed we produce a threadand apply it like a place for members here at PCMECH to publishimages of Custom Mods and paint jobs they have done. No connectionsor pictures unless you had part in the work.

I experience manyof us watch extremely nice Case Mods and paint jobs on the internetand we sometimes post connections about them and discuss how theyappear and stuff. Pretty, I look it is time we have a location weshow off our own work. Think of it as a PCMECH Show Case.

Thismode, they can all be in one nice, easy to detect thread, withpictures and explanations . Thus if you have any custom PC work youexpect to show off, this is the location. Like for myself, I wish todo some custom work this coming spring and plus like pretty.

OK here as whats done, I painted the case black on the inside with auto paint, and Electric blue pearl coat on the outside. Added a custom top window and substituted the slope window. Even produced room for a second 120mm fan on the slope panel. It has a transmission cooler like a rad and is everything passive at the moment as I m doing work on a shroud for a different fan. The complete specifications are in my sight.

That's a nice mod from a stereo. I have an old Fisher with a broken tape deck. Have thought for a when about keeping a small board into the deck. Today that I watched mod I am inspired.

Okay, guys, examine it the Old Stalin Era Russian Radio my assistant and I changed into a media player. Require to acquire some round cables for the rear. But it appears good from the front. The connection is in my signature.

The Stereo mod has rekindled an idea I had some weeks ago. My 5.1 RCA receiver took a dump thus I substituted it with a comparable Yamaha 6.1 unit. Quite that throw the RCA piece away I've decided to mod it into computer. I'm taking pictures like I go and I'll contribute them when I acquire it all worked out. The aim is to make a functional AMD M-ATX computer although holding the original feel of the stereo receiver.

Goal number 2 is to tie it in to my entertainment system like a mass storage or playback instrument for my music collection! Thinking of applying the TV as a monitor when required and using the sound output as an AUX input on the Yamaha unit. Will no doubt require a wireless keyboard and mouse for operation. Should be fun

Sorry about that. I tend to hold a high result thus I didn't remark the size of the pictures. Even, I painted my keyboard last night and am going to keep it rear together today. I'll post some pics as soon as I acquire it down (and I'll be sure to resize them this time)

It is a 80mm intake there, and there is one other 80mm on the rear. I only took the complete thing aside today, thus all the panels etc are off, and I have only the frame to work with. I have a cooler master 120 mm quad blue LED fan I think I will keep in that front intake, just gotta mod the hole a bit larger. I don't see why they didn't keep a 120mm or 2x 80mm's in there in the 1st place, there is tons of space.

I am going to try and fit another 80 mm fan below the one in the rear, but I'll watch if I can, it will be real close. I am also going to keep a large the window in the slope, may be on the top also if I'm looking ambitious The slope panel will have 292 mm fans, one above the CPU, and one above the pci /Graphic cards, Then a blowhole in the top, not certain about size, but it should be big because what with the 2 slope fans and the front one there is going to be a much more of intake.

I am viewing painting the inside of the case black or something, then doing some plan in UV paint on the interior, anything particular I should do when painting the within? If anyone has a guide connect or something that would be awesome. Of course this will all be finished off with blue or UV ccfls, I am even only reading about how to do window engraving.. man this is fun .

I experience what u mean, I used one in the top of my case but couldn't fit one in the front thus I only applied a 80 mm fan for it, round IDE cables are a extremely great for air flow

My mod isn't much -- I only keep switches in the top of the case thus that I could turn off the LEDs on the front, hence that they wouldn't bother me at night when I was attempting to sleep. But the actually custom part is the cable routing -- I took the whole case aside in order to route some cables behind the front bezel.
