I'm appearing for a calendar softwareprogram that is like to the Calendar Creator Plus software plannedfor PC's...any guesses? ical does not work for me....
To really produce a calendar but nothing that could be classed like an organizer. What did you expect to do with it and, in what way does iCal not work for you.
Among other things, I don't enjoy that you can not set the margins or lines of the calendar in the month view thus like to watch all in that 'square'....it only tells '4 more...' I require to watch all in the square, in the month view...and that is the biggest thing I loss and require from Calendar Creator...unless there is another calendar software that will let for that. There are other small things that I don't enjoy about ical also, but that is the biggy!
The key characteristic I apply in Calendar Creator Plus that I have not detected in a Mac Calendar program is to increment the age of a person each year, which prints like part of the Calendar. In the events listings you point a base year for any event and it calculates the value each year. I print various family calendars which automatically enhances a persons age or anniversary. This is today the just program that I however require a windows depended machine for. Would love to substitute it thus I can acquire ride of Windows
Nearly the just reason for requiring Windows is the deficiency of a good calendar program. I've attempted above 20 different ones from several places. None match Calendar Creator. Few of you might attempt uCalendarX. I lets you to manipulate the margins somewhat.
My largest complaint on iCal is that you can't "Banner" events. uCalendarX allows that but however prints out sloppy. I'm at a church and actually require a sharp calendar program that lets for repeats, bettering of events, clip art insertion, and word art.
Please, don't anyone reply and say me to apply a publishing program. I require a calendar program as Calendar Creator. Please!!!!!
Have you attempted? I don't experience if it will do what you expect like I've just browsed across it but it may be worth a attempt. It's constantly being updated, because of being open source, and you could always guess novel features that may be useful to you.
I also require a Calendar Creator like program for MAC. Like guessed is actually not close. I apply Calendar Creator for office schedules and it is very handy when repeating same information in a repeating schedule such as each week or 6 weeks. Will stick with the Windows program till yet something better arrives along in MAC
Thanks for the recommendation. It seems to be a excellent small program for scheduling. Scarcely a replacement for Calendar Creator. I was wrong on my last post. The previous edition of iCal does allow you to banner every day events spanning longer as compared to a 24 hour period.
Here's the difference between these programs. iCal along with Entourage, Sunbird, etc., are scheduling programs that have been afforded some alternatives to print calendars. Calendar Creator is a "print calendar" program that's been afforded alternatives for scheduling. While, extremely strong scheduling alternatives.
I'm actually kind a shocked that there isn't a better calendaring program for the Mac with the emphasis the Mac has had in education. Odd. In the meantime I hold booting up to Windows for Calendar Creator. Is there an old edition of Calendar Creator for the Mac?
There's LOTS of reasons why I hold applying Calendar Creator on my windows machine. I completely hope there was a good MAC replacement. I have searched, but have not found ANYTHING like it, with all it's options!
Here is one that is like, but it misses the mark, thus I uninstalled it. But, it might meet one of your requirements. It's called Calendar Maker 5 examine it out, it might work for you.
I'm going to hold searching! and, applying my CC on my vista. If anyone detects a actually good replacement, please post!
I set up Calendar Maker 5 for Mac. I applied it and I think it is the best you're going to acquire out there for the Mac. It is a small more "stiff" but I detect I can do most things. Events can be above days - it does not do birthdays as CC -but I put the year they were born in the event . I determined to buy the program, because I produce too many calendars. Examine it out. It's fairly good.
