Default Wiser to purchase novel setup?

Hi, my motherboard has blamed and Ialready have a working p4 1.7ghz processor and a flat panel monitorand peripherals and power supply. My question is whether I shouldonly substitute the board on a biostar g31 socket 478 for 5000 bucksor to buy a novel board+processor? Please tell me what budget boardand CPU combo are usable for low cost scope below 10k. I will requireon board video and audio and one IDE connector. what do i do?

Ok, I have decided with gigabyte ga880gm-usb3 like my board but I require to experience something:
online specifications say that it has on board a/v and LAN and also an IDE connector which can be split to two devices. Therefore that takes care of most things. Can anybody confirm if it has the IDE con.? and will the IDE be speedy plenty to acquire by for a some months? Later my monitor and peripherals are fairly novel I only have to buy a MB and CPU.

Ok with a budget of 11-12k total which quad CPU would be good for that board? I only require plenty power to play flash games and steam games with good settings. and good audio/video editing horsepower and run photoshop/cad smoothly. I am posting from phone thus can not fill the questionnaire but I will clarify on anything. Also this is not vital but will the 'am3Plus ' CPUs be compatible with that board in case I require to upgrade later some years? thanks

Ok, I have chose the following: corsair value select 4gb, gigabyte GA-880gm-usb3 rev 3.1 , AMD phenom 955be (c3 stepping) , generic case

Can somebody tell me if there is a good online shop where I can purchase these. I would enjoy to purchase online, if possible, at good rates. Also - I would enjoy suggestions for hard drive. i do not actually require more as compared to say 80-120gb my requirements are only running a some applications and documents and only a couple games.
