    what makes more loud noise? CPU fan orSMPS fan?

    May be I am not certain you should attempt motherboard monitor tool. It will afford you every details considering your SMPS fan. May be you could monitor the RPM speed of your SMPS fan..

    In winter season SMPS fan creates a noise though begin up for some seconds. This is general. Tell me few details like when the noise is appearing, its duration etc...

    Tell your hardware configuration?? I think d SMPS is so much old therefore it needs to repair... Please give your comp. Configured.

    I have change my SMPS in last year itself. But when I restart my PC the sounds comes out from PC for few minutes. But when I hit my PC the sound will be stopped. IS it right way????? As I am even facing similar trouble.

    I purchased my CPU two years ago.. When I begin my PC , the noisy sound exist for 2-3 mins and later that SND is general... I opened SMPS myself and I cleaned with brush. Now there is no more dust with fan.....but however I facing.........noisy sound.... Considerable my configuration is 1 GB RAM DDR 2, 2.59 MHz dual core processor, 320 GB HD, considerable I have color-sic cabinet.....and currently I am with windows XP service pack 2......that is it........

    Ok then open the Cabinet and do not assemble it open it always...and then examine it...I open the CPU and also see what is actually happening there otherwise I am going to hit my CPU frequently.....

    The same problem is happening with me but now it is going normally. I think you should go in BIOS and then enable the smart fan . May be it will help you to solve your problem.......
