Thread: Hard disk space trouble?

My c drive is 100 GB and it's showsfree space 9 GB. And but I apply just 20 GB from c drive then why itis show 9 GB free just please tell me how to solve this matter

I think there is few sort of Virus or Malware that is eating your HDD space... Perform a Full Scan applying good anti-virus and anti-malware...That is what I think, Wait for few expert comments..... Afford few more details as which windows you are applying and which anti-virus you apply.?

First run Disk clean up tool and disk defragment tool. Clean up and defrag your c drive. In explorer select to display hidden files and manually examine which files are eating your space. If these does not work, scan your PC with a good* anti-virus.

Did you perform those steps which souvenir told..?? Defrag your HDD , Disk cleanup , RUN Full Anti-virus Scan with Malware bytes and Avast anti-virus updated.. Most probably its a Virus as you do not use any anti-virus, therefore do everything the over steps and reply later that...

You have to clean your browsers cache on a regular basis to free up disk space. Setup Ccleaner and run it with every items examined. Post size of your Windows folder

I think though setting up XP, you have forgotten to partition staying space.....only examine it......it could be possible....
