Default Removing and cleaning a graphics card

Thus though unclogging the computerfans last night I remarked the fan with my graphics card is prettydusty. I would clean it, but I have never removed a graphics cardearlier and I am fairly skeptical about it as it appears thereforeflimsy and I am worried about breaking it. It is a Raedeon HD 4600which I think is a PCIe slot. Any advice?

PCI-E? Unscrew from case where the metal plate bends above at the top, open plastic clip at the rear of the slot if there is one and pull out. You actually can not go wrong, and you should not break anything. I have never even thought about one breaking and I have setup removed more as compare to I can remember.

Best to leave the real cooler with the card while, unless you have thermal paste lying about. Blow all the dust out and everything should be considerable.

I afforded it another shot but the fact that the graphics card slot is black and the release tab is even black makes life hard. Especially when there is barely any room to manuveur my fingers around to attempt and detect the release tab.

Even, I do not usually remove my video card when cleaning it. I only make certain I touch the casing, hold the video card's fan (to prevent it from spinning), and only blow away with my vacuum cleaner.
