Thread: Sound icon not in taskbar

When I go untilControl Panel\Sounds\Volume I can watch that the box is ticked, stillthere is no icon. If I untick it, acquire it, go back again and tickit the icon seems in the task bar. But at the next re-begin itdisappears........

Any clues?

Right-click with the task bar and select "properties" then where it tells "hide inactive icons" click with "Customize" and watch if it is listed there and adjust to hide when inactive. If thus, alter that to "always show".

Yes, he alters are however there, but though last time earlier I re-began I saw them in the upper part, now they rear under (old items) however displaying 'always show', but they do not show. I just setup SP3 yesterday later applying the recovery disk to begin the system from scratch.
