Why have you narrowed your choices down to these 2 monitors? There is better for the buck out there.
You look to be in Canada. I would have a seem at what NCIX.ca has to proffer. Samsung does create good monitors but I would even have a feel at the Asus monitors like considerable. I do not experience who manufactures HP's monitors for them.

Depended upon my past knows on HP products, I say anything BUT an HP. I experience that is such a broad statement, but I have had bad luck with every things HP. More so as compare to any other producer.

I am seeming to spend not more as compared to about for a monitor, the bigger the better like it will be applied for a much more of gaming. I was only going to apply Future shop because of it is convenience of being down the road. Thus between the two, the Samsung is the better? Like for buying from NCIX.ca, NewEgg.ca, or TigerDirect.ca... I do not also experience where to begin appearing and what to feel for, short of price differences.

Between the 2 I would go for the Samsung. It has slightly faster response time and one more HDMI input like opposed to the DVI-D with the HP. The Samsung is even displaying few extra characteristics that may or may not be current on the HP.

Another reason to go Samsung is not extreme technical per se', but is more of a personal logic perceptive. Samsung tends to create good TV's, they have even been in the recommended sector for LCDs, at least from what I have watched and heard. I have never once heard anybody recommended an HP.

I have been shopping for a 27 inch monitor for a while now, and that one is on my wish list. It appears to have decent reviews, and more vitally all the different inputs that I demand/require. Few of the other 27 inches arrive with extreme limited inputs.

I question your comment "a more known company".... ASUS is a major player in the computer market. I have a 24" Asus. I thought the images with my 21" Viewsonic was nice till yet I acquired the Asus and it created the Viewsonic screen feel as total crap.

Asus not considerable experienced? They sell few of the finest monitors, laptops, and components with the market! I will bring an Asus monitor over a Samsung in a heartbeat. Why cross the border? Order from Newegg or NCIX and have it shipped to your door with no customs hassles and a Canadian warranty.

I recognize people in this thread suggest ASUS, other sites suggest SAMSUNG because of their longevity in the TV/monitor business, and then few sites suggest the VIEWSONIC like being the best of every 3 because of 1ms and 30 million to 1 ratio. Guess I will have to only pick one and wish for the best. Thanks for the assist everybody.
