Thread: Help about 36GB WD Raptor SATA connectors broken

Hello, Sata connectors of my WD Raptor 36GB are broken due to disconnection too.
Actually have parts like plastic L who jumped, the metal pins they are free. So do the connections more clearly. I am afraid it does not take up anyway. Find another identical controller and replace mine? Is it possible? Where to find? What material what to do? Anyway I am a bit lost when any proposal will be welcome!

Return your disk repair not sure you recover your data change the PCB possible but uncertain since the PCB stores information on your hard as the allocation of bad sectors the cable will not work.

Even sure it will never recover their data if reference. Photo of breaks? Buy this mini SATA cable do you advance to anything it is not made for it.

Pick up the pieces of plastic or change the PCB, I see nothing else. Your problem has happened to me long ago but the ends were not torn just broken I stuck it has never moved, the hard work.

Already Maxtor home but it was easy any IDE or SATA PCB series did the trick. The Raptor no idea so it helps a lot.
