Thread: Cannot play cd or dvd with new equipment

Hello, I received this morning burner model S features I have used for resettlement of seven on a laptop which was uneventful. I am going to install an original games, not the cd rom is not reading the reader is well seen, I installed the latest firmware nothing to do I try to drive my pc, cd-rom is seen I tested with cd audio, dvd, always the same disks are not seen. Writer I spend on my pc fixed it is seen but again no disc is read. I tested several different USB port either on the laptop as fixed. I tested the fix on the microsoft laptop as on fixed it has come to nothing. I did no virtual drive installed. I thought a drive failure but if there was failure to install seven could not be done it is therefore a concern with either seven or with the user me. Does anyone have any idea why? solution I use my right of withdrawal but it is stupid because if it comes from me there will be the same area if I order another drive.
