Default SD Card Problem & Solutions

I'm already a couple days with an annoying problem with the copy of (large) files from my computer to a normal 2gig SD card. Each time a large map of western Europe or something want to copy to my SD card I get at the same time (almost back) variorum of an error message "path too long" or "cyclic redundancy check" or "I / O device ..." !

If I copy small files or folders can simply be but they are larger eg 1.6 gig or something I get to around 80% I estimated error.I tried it to a 2 gig USB stick to do and it does so. I'll be here no longer; can someone help me where this could be? I use a 2GB SD card Gradate flash series!

    Thanks!

Maybe the SD card into your PPC and then, through the tree, to your SD card (while aangeslotenm via Active Sync?).
Although it still seems to be the ticket...

    Hi,

No relatives or friends in the area with a card reader? That you still can connect.

If I exactly the same files and folders for my navigation package and copy to my USB stick of 2GB manage it. Just my SD card. And that I really need to stop my PDA and to navigate.

I have both been tried, FAT and FAT32. If I tar forma him than my memory is 1.90 GB. So normal. It's just weird. But my suspicion is that if he is the 1.70 GB cards simply no longer cope?

I have done very often, every time I made a new attempt, I formatted it then! Works too.

Does it now also check for errors! no error message that would be! I find it just weird that the description is that all these files (the + map) onto a 2GB card would be able, but if I copy everything to my SD card I get that message.

Well first I had a hub in between is when I went searching on the internet I came from that that could be a problem so I had my card reader directly connected to the PC but that helped too.

So I use a card reader as directly on the PC. I just copy from explorer to my SD card. But always with large files I get an error message!
