LaCie Launches Latest Portable DVD Writer LaCie has rolled out its latest handy DVD writer which is targeted towards net book users. Measuring only 157.5mm x 137mm x 25mm and weighing just 305 grams, this Sam Hecht-designed drive gives greatest write speeds of 8x for DVD±R and DVD+RW, 6x for DVD±R DL and DVD-RW, 5x for DVD-RAM and 24x for CD-R/-RW. Not to state, the drive also approaches with a USB connection interface and supports for Light Scribe skill.
