The Deneb core showed to be just the shatter they wanted to obtain back in the game and they've utilized that to their full benefit. Today we have their best quad core present, the X4 965 that runs at 3.4GHz, formally creating it the greatest quad core till date, as evaluated to Intel's fastest Corei7 975 that sprints at 3.33GHz.

This new Phenom II X4 comes with the similar 6MB of L3 cache anchored in the AM3 socket.
