Yes it is adequate enough to sprint those games on high even.Do you have the most recent drivers and as a minimum DX10? Those games will appear great and the FPS will be adequate as they are not reserve munchers, however if you are preparation on playing games akin to Crysis, GTA 4, FC2, Resident Evil5 or FSX that card will create to stutter at upper resolutions and high settings.

I'm preparation on informing my graphics card only really. But I'm not actually a hardcore PC gamer, so I won't mind playing on Medium, providing it won't lag.

I have participated during Fallout 3 on a:

    Pentium D @ 3.4GHz
    2GB RAM
    ATI 3870

I was able to play it at 1280x1024 @ High devoid of Aniso or AA and I'd frequently get 40~60fps.

    Don't recognize about Borderlands although.

It will sprint; you require staying further than AA and ASF. Should obtain about 25-30fps. It won’t lag but you will acquire slow down in eventful areas.
