Hi friends, Begins at 8:30 AM. or, I’m certain there’ll be write-ups on it.
I acquired this strand bookmarked. I'm inquisitive to see what AMD has impending in terms of product in the near prospect, including their 800-series. Here's hopeful the words delayed or belated are not wherever in their reports.
Expect are all people having. They have belated and distorted their roadmap so much in the past few years its quite crazy. Perhaps they are on the right path although since they did obtain Phenom II out when they designed it. Well if they even designed it or it was a bound for 45nm anyways.
Had you located any information on this still? The stocks ascended 11 cents, perhaps they have superior information.
I didn't observe this strand when I completed mine. I'll just copy the pertinent bits here.
The thing I almost finest myself over was the information about the imminent Bulldozer in 2011. It's heading for be an AM3 part. So far I hadn't read anything other than conjecture and rumors. I have no thought what socket Intel's Sandy Bridge is going to be but if it wants a new platform AMD might have pretty an advantage when they appear. Unless Bulldozer is a huge crash against Sandy Bridge I don't see myself switching to Intel in 2011.
Wow I just understand the whole slideshow and I must state that AMD is creation a huge comeback. And a main plus- most technologies are.
I'm not overwhelmed. From the slide connected (I don't have time immediately to read the links.) that’s their precedence for 2010? As in all their objectives for the year? Let’s see, 1) winning platform could mean almost anything. 2) Augment LAPTOP presentation and battery life by 25%. That’s good, presumptuous you’re running a laptop. What do we desktop users acquire? 3) Expand Open CL. Neat, perhaps some products will appear in 2011? 4) Win DX11 NOTEBOOK transition. That should be simple, what does Nvidia have out that's DX11? 5) Launch 12 core Opteron CPU. Great, a server chip and even more cores that might not level with customer programs.
So for those of us gamers, we acquire what accurately? What new CPU thing is AMD planning on releasing soon to acquire us excited? If that's the most stirring slide showing what’s coming, I'm not happy.
I think everybody concurs with you, the earlier the enhanced. And unhappily, so far, no big revelations on release dates/timing but, you have to be expectant with the 1 TB aptitude at the low end, means better games down the road, that’s IF LRB can continue and leaves Nvidia cold though for low end.
No, that sets me underneath low end. Not cool. Though, Bulldozer appears sweet.
What precisely do you desire? The only thing AMD can actually do to potentially improve gaming presentation is higher clock speeds and higher IPC. It's not like a customer 12-core CPU is going to be practical to you. CPUs are for work, GPUs are for games, HPCG Pc and GPUs are for many work.
