Default Giving away my Rosewill 550w RP-2...

In the spirit of akin thread I proverb in the GPU forum I am going to bargain my Rosewill 550w RP-2 PSU. I've lately improved to a Corsair model and don't require the Rosewill any more. It's only been used for a few months and is in ideal working order. I had it powering a Phenom II 720 OC'd to 3.5, 6 GB of DDR 2 ram, a GTS 250, a 260 GB HDD, 4 Antec case fans, and a 22x LG DVD/CD como drive. I recognize that Rosewill isn't the most dependable brand out there but I've never had a subject with this PSU.

While this isn't almost as exciting as giving gone a GPU, I hope it can discover a good home for someone who might not be capable of give a new PSU but could use this one as an improve. If you are interested and could employ this PSU, please list your system specifications together with any data about why you need the PSU improve. I would like to choose someone who could actually utilize improve and might be going through some financial/personal complexities that would stop them purchasing a computer improve at this time. I will only select someone who is in the continental US and I will pay for shipping costs.

Offer it a little time, I'm certain someone could employ it! I saw your post from the GPU forum; possibly if you put a link to this thread in your post more than there you will see some action here.

P.S. thanks for offering this up, it are good to see people giving!

Very liberal of you, that power supply should be able to power 90% of the systems that I perceive here on Tom's and Rosewill is very good superiority, in my view. I've built two computers for friends; both have rosewills power supplies, both doing well after 2 years.

I sprint a 600W Rosewill and it is immense. Has all the connectors and power I require for now. I would completely suggest them; price/presentation is ideal IMO.

I would adore having it. I contain a HP computer. But wedged an 8400gs in it and called it a gaming computer . I would adore having it because it could open my potential of receiving a new Graphics card. My parents hate spending money on the "darn video games" When I asked them to acquire a new case they said "Yeah, certain there is a cardboard box outside and an old ceiling fan. I actually like to game and I hardly get a glimpse of it.

    Bfg 8400gs
    Hp brand 5 GB ram
Stock no name brand 300w psu
    640 GB hard drive.
    Quad core Phenom 9150e.

    Comp specifications:

    Nvidia 8400
    500 GB HD
    2GB DDR2 RAM
    E6750, Dual core 2.66

it has several 300 watt PSU. I said in the GPU thread that I had a 500w one. I experienced it out and It gives out a high inclined whistling sound so... That's no fine, I have the money for a new GPU albeit a quite low end one. But I don't contain the added money for a new PSU as I believe the highest I could use is a 9400 which actually won't get me where I desire to.

I have a 24" monitor which accompanied the comp and an 8400 won't cut it for 1920x1200 resolutions, nor will a 300w PSU. I would akin to play some Fallout 3 and such but I don't have a job as I'm a full time student and can't drive yet so this is what I'm fixed with.

My computer has been lifeless for approximately 2 years due to a dead 430w Thermaltake power supply. I would have set that difficulty a lot sooner, but I kept putting it off due to need of money and it wasn't as urgent since my brother gave me his old Pentium 4 rig (w/ 1GB of RAM and a GeForce 7600GT).

The P4 rig has been portion me pretty well, but nowadays I'm growing ever more tired of not being equal to watch HD videos with no lots of choppiness or even SD Flash videos in full screen which led me here while doing investigate. I'm probably going to be getting a power supply despite, but if I somehow end up winning it, I'll most likely acquire a Radeon 4650 using the cash I saved up for the power supply. As for the P4, I'll perhaps pass it down to my sister.
