You may have observed that when you right click on your network link under My Network Places you have a choice for Bridge Network. What a network bridge does is permit two or more networks to be tied together so that they act similar to a single network.

for instance if you have 3 computers on a LAN linked via Ethernet and then have a wireless laptop with only a wireless connection you could employ a bridge to join all 4 together. You require to confirm that one of the wired computers has an Ethernet port AND a wireless port. The Ethernet port is utilized to connect to the other 2 wired computers and the wireless port will be utilized to connect to the wireless laptop.
