Default What Is Wrong With My Pc??

Well, my computer turns on for 2 seconds and then turns off, I considered it was power supply so I distorted it for a 550W..........similar thing.......so could it be the motherboard?? If I depart my computer off and unplugged for about 2 days then it will turn on once more no difficulty and temperatures are standard, so is it the motherboard capacitors or what?

Is the power button on the case appearance? If not, and the FP power switch on the mobo is staying congested, you will perceive this kind of deeds. One mode to trouble shoot this is to (very cautiously) disconnect the FP connectors for the power switch and employ a screwdriver or like device to physically start the computer (be very cautious not to touch any other pins when doing this).

Safer is to merely swap the case power switch with reset switch, then attempt to boot with reset switch.System specifications - counting both PSU's?

And here I was thoughts you just had a wedged caps lock key! Gravely, I'd observe ALL of the capacitors on your motherboard. If they're gasping up/outward you have a difficulty... if any of them have leaked, well you have a difficulty. I just restored a PC at work that had what I call "puffed capacitors".

Well...if it is your capacitors, it’s easy to ensure. Unplug your computer and push your power switch for about 30seconds to release them totally and they should be fine. I am thinking that it’s just taking a pair of days for them to discharge; pressing the Power switch while the PSU is unplugged is a rapid way of fully discharging them.

Regardless of how rapidly a CPU can get ridiculously hot, I don't believe it'd be dangerously hot sufficient to turn off after 2 seconds unless your heatsink isn't functioning at all. I reckon it'd obtain a little longer than that besides, that wouldn't be affected you by leaving your PC unplugged for a couple of days. No, I don't believe it’s a heatsink difficulty.

Is your PC working correctly once more now, and you're just trying to understand what the difficulty is? Or are you still having matters?

I concur, I doubt it’s a heatsink, because as fast as your CPU heats up, it cools also very speedily due to many metal around it and the heat scatters. It would take pair hours not days for it to cool. I hesitation it’s a heat difficulty at all.
