You have an AM3 mobo, so, obtain the 955 that have a big OC probable (I have one) or 965 (125W edition). Maybe aren't the best alongside the i5 or i7, but come upon, is the winner next to almost the 90% of the core2quad of Intel.

Were annoying to tell you there's no cause to disburse the extra for the 965 over the 955. The dissimilarity is 200 MHz, but they both overclock to the similar speed.
He doesn't NEED a wonderful high valued mobo. The cost difference is about 50 dollars for an AM3/965 setup evaluated to an I5 750/1156 Setup.
I am referring to foxconn sockets that will be exhausted his chip since the OP purposely said he wants to OC to the maximum possible. It is not the dissimilarity between a low 775 mobo and the striker 2 - it is the disparity between running stock and not operating at all after a week.
Were annoying to inform you there's no reason to disburse the extra for the 965 over the 955. The dissimilarity is 200 MHz, but they both overclock to the similar speed. They have a 5 euros difference in cost since the 965 is on a help, so I won’t mind paying 5 euros for and additional 200 MHz.
The cost difference is around 50 dollars for an AM3/965 setup evaluated to an I5 750/1156 Setup. Here in Portugal (where I live) I will have to disburse an additional 80 euros for an i5 config, with a gigabyte P55 socket 1156 motherboard; I stated the prices of the hardware discussed in this topic in my country right in the beginning.
Quad gpu denotes 4x4890 you do realize that? But a 4890 will crossfire with a 4870/4890.
