Default My PC is not booting properly ?

Alright I have a question concerning my pc components and I知 not certain which pc part it is. My difficulty is that my comp won't colonize for very long

    For example:

I have everything connected all together perfectly fitting in the slots.
But when I plug my +5vsb in the CPU power connector. My computer flashes on for a sec or two then shuts off. (Even when turned off I obtain a blue light when the power button is on.)

I don't smell anything or listen to anything beyond the normal but I知 wondering what pc part is causing the complexity.

I did a little experimenting with my pc. I plugged my graphics card in and hooked it up and my computer turned on like a normal pc should. But when I took it out it did similar to I said earlier.

I知 thinking my: CPU, powersupply or harddrive.

Well it could be either inadequate power or a defective graphics card. It would actually assist if you could post specifications.

I don't perceive anything that should be stressing that PSU but it is completely probable that is the difficulty. If it is really a no post difficulty then the HD is also very improbable to be the difficulty. That pretty much leaves CPU, Mobo, RAM, video.

Is this a totally new build a computer that previously worked or cannibalized/used parts? Essentially what I am asking is if any of these components have a last recognized good state that can be utilized as a benchmark?

If not, finest bet is to begin swapping out parts individually. It seems like that motherboard has onboard video so I would totally remove the video card for all testing. If I read the original post right you yet have troubles when removing the video card.

Try booting with only one of your RAM sticks installed and make sure both of them this way. I would attempt this first after removing the video card just because it is the easiest to test followed by the PSU (IMO). Also gravely consider removing both sticks and installing a single stick that you recognize works in another system (clearly still DDR2 800). Swap out another PSU in there that has been verified good in another system.

    1) Yes, it is a new construct but the only scraped parts were the CD-ROM drive. But I had it functioning it all working for a moment before this all occurred. Then it went wild on me.

    2) I've attempted removing the gpu but it my system only stays on when I have it plugged in.

    3) I've attempted the Ram in each slot but to no prevail. I also RAM my mobo so I'm skeptical of that. But i will have to attempt a fresh attach of ram and perhaps a psu.

My friend caught it but did form any comments. You placed about plugging your +5vsb in the CPU power connector. That doesn't create sense. The CPU and the GPU are powered by +12 volt power connections. What is the create and model of your power supply?

I having problem with. The +5vsb line is one wire in the main motherboard power plug (the purple wire, to be actual). It痴 impossible to plug it in disjointedly. We are annoying to understand what you are annoying to ask.

What I destined to ask is why is my computer "flashing" (all lights fans and components establish) me when I have my cpu power connector in. But when I have my cpu power connector in my computer stays on ( no boot or post just all operating).
