MS Access 2003 permit to install ActiveX controls. ActiveX controls permit users to run macros, scripts to automate general tasks. Based on planned use of control, you install ActiveX controls in database as check boxes or buttons. Use Toolbox toolbar to install an ActiveX control in MS Access database in XP.

Instructions

• Start Microsoft Access.

• Open Access database file to change. Click "File", click "Open" link. In file selector window. Click database file, then click "Open" button. This opens file.

• Click form, report page on which you want to install ActiveX control, then click "Design" icon. This opens Design view.

• Click "More Controls" in "Toolbox". In menu of ActiveX controls. Tick control to install.

• Click any where to place control in form, report or data access page you are changing. This installs ActiveX control in Access database.
