Default Dual and quad again amd 550 vs 620

I have been reading plenty on the subject but just required to obtain some individual feedback. Looking at either purchasing the Phenom ll x2 550 or the Athlon x4 620 either way I’m going to place it into a ASRock M3A770DE Socket AM3/ AMD 770/ CrossFireX/ A&GbE/ ATX Motherboard did a rapid comparison here looks the 550 beats the 620 most of the time.
Only time the x4 appears on top is for 3d and HD. I don’t appreciate most of these tests but what I do obtain creates me sway for the x4 550 because I plan to employ this pc mostly for gaming.

Hi everyone, I read your question so I like to give you suggestion. But for that I want more clarification about your query so please give me reply for my question. Why not choose something akin to this?

    I'd obtain the Athlon II x3 440.

But If I had to decide from one of them then I'll say an x4 620 will be improved.

Since 550 is only a dual core so perhaps a 620 will last longer since it has 2 more cores.

But 550 is a creature Overclocker and you can also unlock 2 cores (Thus creating it a quad core) on some mobos.

The 630 is only a pair buck in excess of the 620.

If I had to select between the 620 and 550, I'd yet take the quad over the dual. It's going to be more future proof no matter what and you can overclock it and make it faster than the 550 in gaming.

No really it depends on what motherboard you have and if you’re CPU has a bad core or bad cache, which is why many of them are sold as dual cores, because they have a bad core or bad cache.
