Thread: Find a box 2 "5 for my hard drive

I have a big issue, finally, a concern of 12.5 mm thick!
I have a laptop with a hard drive fujitsu MHV2200 ( datasheet )
it is 12.5 mm thick!

it does not fit into a box USB / SATA disk 2 "5 standard (Not tested and approved, fortunately I was able to resell the box!)

I seek housing likely to accommodate.
Is anyone has already tested a model compatible.

because I fear that the dimensions given by the manufacturers of the boxes are the external dimensions, which is not a guarantee of sizes ... internal, which are those that allow to accommodate the disc in fine ... (E.g., the case that I was given for 16mm high and my drive did not!)

good, then by dint of wandering on the net, we finally see the boxes that indicate whether or not they can take more HDD 9 mm high (hats off to the icy-box that indicates almost always) but there are a lot of boxes that interest me who do not say!

I sent a mail to support about Thermaltake VI we still had no response.
It also seems that HDD prices have fallen enough for the 2 "5 links on Amazon in one of my previous posts no longer the best deal.

I am not a monster, I just want a box slightly larger HDD able to accommodate a 12.5 mm high.

Prices of the HDD have changed recently so I don’t think that the prices mentioned earlier are the best deals, for best deals search on Google..
