    Default SSD vertex 2100 goes - temperature 128 °?

    Hello,

I just bought a 2100 vertex ssd go, I installed windows 7 x32, with several software testing temperature, it tells me 128 degrees. I wanted to know if it was normal.

For example with HWMonitor and I HDTune temperature at 128°.

    Thank you for your help.

128 is a "magic number". DSS does not have your temperature probe or it is not accessible by the usual protocol, then it returns that value (the alternative would have been -127).

It is possible but I have a warning in the bottom right from HDTune saying that appears critical temperature 128 degrees, I think it should not be any probe because when I touch the ssd, it is cold.

I do not take into account I think. Is one of the last vertex ssd Go 2100 which was released recently.

    Thank you.

HDTune uses SMART info for the temperature of a hard disk. However, most SSD uses a different address for some SMART attributes and therefore the software reports a figure Aber. This is the case for 128 or a degree that should not have an account.

OCZ should launch a toolbox for its Intel-based SSD controller Sandforce that will see information of this type correctly.

What are your performance in crystal disk mark stp?
I have read 200 and 100 in writing. I'll send my ssd or wait for the next FW. It is very far away from 285/275.

I replaced a 128 GB Crucial M225 by vertex 2120 GB and it is a little more efficient for everyday use. That's all that interests me.
I tested with ATTO and the Persians are good. But if you bought a DSS to spend your life to test.

The score of a typical DSS Sandforce unworn in crystal mark gives:

    220/135
    205/135
    22/85

The readings were stable on a DSS worn, but the entries down to 80-90 all tests in writing once every Nanda written at least once. The rate announced is made for 285/275 Atto only. Manufacturers use one or two workbenches of their choice for the promotion of DSS, and therefore each benchmark cannot show the same flow. WinSAT Iometer disk and approaching much. Crystal and AS SSD much less.

Is the same for your Ferrari? You can ask him to drive at a speed given by the manufacturer in the desert or on a dirt road. For example, depending on the context.
