Default Difficult for editing and recording of HD video

My name is Nick and is at the bottom of the scale of computer enthusiasts. I do not understand all the technical terms so if someone agrees to help, be nice to speak to me in a language that the common novice can understand.

    My Specification:

    -Tour-Packard Bell

    -Proccesseur: intel core2 quad 2.5GHz

    -4GB RAM

    -32bits

-Nvidia Graphics Card HD Gforce9500gs (512MB)

    -HDD: 500GB

    -Windows Vista Premium Edition-family

I recently was offered a full HD camcorder Samsung HMX-H104BP. Its use is very simple and I have not encountered any trouble during my 10 days vacation with my new toy.

Back at home, so I decide transfer my videos to the PC, which has caused no problems with the software, provided on the camcorder (intelli-studio).The aim is obviously to be able to edit so as not to just be able to watch the vids one by one. And that's where the low level! As soon as I drag my videos to the source list to the mounting area, the clips become unreadable quasimment, image and sound sacadent lot and are unusable. I was planning my first installation once finished, giving me a blu-ray burner in order to be able to put my movies on this media type.

Thinking that the problem was probably coming from my system or my config, I went with a friend who has been doing for two years editing it captures HD camera with full HD Sony semi-pro recording on mini DV. So we tried the move on his bike and this time with Pinnacle and the problem is the same!

The choice of camera just for DV editing it and nothing else, before buying thou hast not informed guess, that's where it leads. You now have an AVCHD video file almost unusable, except swing on YouTube, play on your TV or convert.

You've got 2 things to try:

    - Use Premiere Pro CS4 software is 1000 € and very resource-intensive handling if (managed) of AVCHD is a good price for Sony HC9 or Canon HV40, HDV models are certainly compatible with all editing software.

    - Convert files with SUPER; I hope you'll be patient because even with a super bike, the resources requested are énormissimes.

Prior to the formats used by your cam model seem correct (H.264 video HP / MP4, AAC).

    Thus check:
    - If the camcorder and / or the card is not defective.

    - If the worries do not come from the utility transmission between the video card memory the computer,

    - If you have tested on several editing software (there beacoup: Vegas, premiere pinnacle, magix, etc.),

    Another idea:
    - Export a final movie (e.g. divx/mp3) to make sure that it is not because the editing software "train" on your original footage,

    OR

    - Pass the videos in uncompressed format (heavier but already decoded) because maybe the jerks come decoding on the fly. Used virtualdub for example this (but not only).

With software that manage AVCHD and they are legion (CS4 Premiere and Final Cut from Apple), and why it takes a sturdy level gear (obviously, given what he described it should be fine).

In fact AVCHD gradually begins to be supported, but you really have the latest versions of software!

I tried Pinnacle (latest version) that supports the AVCHD, because my friend who did a lot of montages engraves his films under 30 minutes in HD DVD format with this. The problem is the same!

Otherwise, I also tried Adobe first element, Windows Movie Maker and I'm always trying on my Intel famous studio.

I spent more 1h1 / 2 with the hotline at Intel Samsung asked me to download "Klite": always the same! Finally, I had a "pseudo technician" who says that the problem is with my PC although I have told him that with my friend the problem is the same!!

Otherwise, and in the worst case (if I cannot get up my movies). (Sony Full HD). I mean by this is that to play the videos of this format, am not obliged to go through the camcorder?

Well, after many attempts by different assemblies of software and other converts in various formats and none being conclusive solution has arrived, I visited the bakery in the store closest to me to ask for help to a technician so that it could possibly m'aiguiller of an alternative.

I had to do a young man who did not immediately admit that he has sold this type of product and income that are all the same kind of worries. He even claims to have received "Samsung France" a memo stating that such material was suitable only for the time viewing content from the camcorder to the TV. That only the videos shot in SD from the camera éventuellemnt could be a montage or any modification.

Bad news in "C discount", they categorically refuse to return the product! I contacted Samsung and they must try to find a solution to my problem within a week, I'll let you know.

It happens regularly that kind of mishap with the material for students (who also had a great HD camera as a gift, thank you parents). And of course, it happens before the first courses where I advise 1000x in miniDV cameras, but hey, even after these tips, some still with exotic material.

So the only solution that I advocate is the re-encoding, it takes time monster for nothing, but the only immediate solution.

Hello, I have exactly the same problem and c is of course unacceptable. The hotline Samsung has no jurisdiction in the matter and could not help me.
Have you found a solution nico? I fight for the last few weeks, and I flinch.

I managed to make a montage with Windows Movie Maker but I lose all the quality of the image. Intelli Studio comes with is useless in editing, and no response is provided by Samsung. I said that I have a computer recently, powerful, the Samsung bug no doubt.

However, I still had a chance after multiple shots on the hotline son Samsung to come across a young man who understood my problem (being itself amateur this type of material). Other parties that had not previously been included absolutely nothing about what I told them! And yes, many of these people we got on the phone, do not even know what it really Sagit when talking about their size, resolution etc.

The young man was about to me competence Elsewhere admitted that two thirds of the concerns they have addressed are issues concerning the use of television brand and therefore are almost trained for that.

Short, he promised me will take care of my problem seeking a solution, it reminded me about one month after to tell me that despite his research he still had nothing new to offer me and that remind me since then, radio silence!
